SEED

シードは1915年（大正4年）に、前身である「三木康作ゴム製造所」として創業しました。
戦後、原材料の入手難に翻弄され、限られた天然ゴム材料のもとで企業再建を果たすため、消しゴムに特化する道を選択しました。
以来「消す」ことにこだわりを持って、消しゴムをはじめとした様々な製品を世に送り出しております。
「消すものづくり。」という広義に解釈した新たなアイデンティティを打ち出し、消すにまつわる様々な選択の幅を広げて、新しい価値を生む挑戦を続けてゆきます。

Seed was founded in 1915 (Taisho 4) as the predecessor company, “Miki Kosaku Rubber Manufacturing.”
After the war, facing shortages of raw materials, we chose to specialize in erasers to rebuild the company using limited natural rubber supplies.
Since then, we have maintained a deep commitment to the act of “erasing,” bringing to the world a variety of products, including erasers.
We are continuously challenging ourselves to create new value by expanding the range of choices related to erasing, establishing a new identity under the broad concept of “manufacturing that erases.”
