SEED

シードは1915年（大正4年）に、前身である「三木康作ゴム製造所」として創業しました。
戦後、原材料の入手難に翻弄され、限られた天然ゴム材料のもとで企業再建を果たすため、消しゴムに特化する道を選択しました。
以来「消す」ことにこだわりを持って、消しゴムをはじめとした様々な製品を世に送り出しております。
「消すものづくり。」という広義に解釈した新たなアイデンティティを打ち出し、消すにまつわる様々な選択の幅を広げて、新しい価値を生む挑戦を続けてゆきます。

Seed was founded in 1915 (Taisho 4) as the predecessor ‘Miki Kousaku Rubber Manufacturing Company.’
After the war, faced with difficulties in obtaining raw materials, the company chose to specialise in erasers to rebuild the business under limited natural rubber materials.
Since then, we have been dedicated to ‘erasing,’ producing a variety of products including erasers.
We have established a new identity based on the broad interpretation of ‘erasing craftsmanship,’ expanding the range of choices related to erasing and continuing to challenge ourselves to create new value.
