シェーファー（SHEAFFER）は、アメリカ合衆国アイオワ州フォートマディソンで、父親と宝石店を経営していたウォルター・A・シェーファーが1913年に設立した筆記具ブランドです。
空気圧を利用してインクを吸入する「タッチダウン式」、ペン先から細い金属製のチューブを出して吸入する「スノーケル」など画期的な機能を持つ万年筆を次々と開発。また首軸とペン先が一体となった「インレイニブ」など独自のスタイルを生み出しました。

SHEAFFER is a brand of writing instruments founded in 1913 by Walter A. Schaeffer, who owned a jewelry store with his father in Fort Madison, Iowa, USA.
He developed a series of fountain pens with revolutionary features, such as the "touchdown type," which used pneumatic pressure to inject ink, and the "snorkel," which injected ink through a thin metal tube protruding from the nib. The company also created unique styles such as the "inlay nib," in which the nib and neck are combined into one piece.
The company is also known as a favorite of former Presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.
