“大阪、京都、名古屋などで廃業された印刷所より活版印刷機や活字を譲り受け、2011年に開業した活版印刷所。
対面で打ち合わせをして用紙を選び、印刷物の仕上がりイメージを共有しながら一つひとつオーダーメイドで作り上げることを大切にしています。
活版印刷に触れる機会を様々な形で提供するため「開かれた活版印刷所」をコンセプトに掲げ、印刷所を開放するOPEN STUDIOや蚤の市出店、西日本の活版印刷所を集めた活版WESTなどのイベントの開催・出店などにも注力。
活版印刷をもっと知ってもらうためのユーザーとの接点を作るために取り組んでいます。
2020年より、自社プロダクトの企画・製作を海外・国内向けにスタート。
活版印刷の凹凸や用紙の質感を最大限に活かすため、伝統的な装飾活字や罫線、記号を使い、デザインしすぎないことを大切にしています。”

“A letterpress printing studio established in 2011, inheriting letterpress machines and types from printing shops that closed down in Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and other areas.
We value face-to-face meetings to select paper and share the final image of the printed materials, creating each item in a custom-made manner.
To provide various opportunities to experience letterpress printing, we embrace the concept of an ‘Open Letterpress Studio.’ We focus on activities such as opening the studio to the public, participating in flea markets, and hosting events like Letterpress WEST, which gathers letterpress studios from western Japan.
We are committed to creating touchpoints with users to make letterpress printing more familiar.
Since 2020, we have started planning and producing our own products for both domestic and international markets.
To maximize the texture and feel of letterpress printing, we use traditional decorative types, lines, and symbols, emphasizing minimal design.”

"「わら半紙」や「クラフト紙」を
中紙に使用した
目に優しいノートパッド。
留め具はネジ式。
一般的なパンチで穴をあけた紙を
再び綴じてリユース可能です。
用紙をちぎっていくと、
使用した歴史が感じられます。
ちぎる箇所にはミシン目を入れておりません。
紙をちぎる感覚も合わせてお楽しみください。

Reuse Notepad | Letterpress
A notepad with soft eye-friendly "washi paper" and "craft paper" as inner pages.
The binder uses screws. Paper with holes punched by a regular puncher can be re-bound and reused.
As you tear off the pages, you can feel the history of usage.
The tearing points do not have perforations. Enjoy the sensation of tearing the paper.
Inside papers are available in 3 variations:
● All Craft - 80 pages
● All Gray Japanese Paper
● Half Craft and Half Japanese Paper
Each has 80 pages.
It is hand-crafted by Sakuranomiya Letterpress and made in Osaka, Japan.
It will be packaged in a plastic bag.

約50年前に製造された、アンティークな活版印刷機を使って
印刷しています。
印刷時についた凹凸やインキの滲み・かすれを楽しみながら
組み立ててください。
「年末年始のご挨拶の贈り物として」
「仕事のデスクの上で」「ショップのレジカウンターに」
「車の中」などでの利用に向いています。
ショップなどの定休日に合わせた表記を自分でできるように、
土日祝日の表記を無くしました。

Build-Your-Own Letterpress Calendar | Letterpress
A letterpress desktop calendar that can be expanded and contracted like a matryoshka doll.
It is printed using an antique letterpress machine manufactured about 50 years ago. Enjoy the uneven texture and ink smudges as you assemble it.

We have removed the weekend and holiday notations so that you can customize them to match the regular holidays of stores, etc.
