"梅栄堂は明暦三年（1657年）に沈香屋作兵衛と称し香木輸入の中心地、ここ堺において線香、香類を専門に商ってきました。 代々つたわる心を大切にいたしまして、 天然香料の気品ある落ちついた香りと、それを丹念に手づくりを一筋に今日まで三百有余年を重ねております。
香づくりは非常に微妙なものでございます。 当社につたわる秘法を守りつづけ、 本当の香りを現在にお伝えしたく精進に努めております。
伽羅、沈香、白檀といった天然香木を調合したお香、お線香を主に製造販売しております。
「好文木」「開運香」は100年以上続くお線香のロングセラーのブランドで、日本全国のご寺院様にもご愛用いただいております。

"Baieido, founded in 1657, has specialized in incense and aromatic woods in Sakai, the heart of imported aromatic wood. We have cherished and preserved the spirit passed down through generations for over 300 years, crafting high-quality incense with natural fragrances and meticulous handwork.
Creating incense is a delicate process. We strive to preserve the traditional methods and convey the true essence of fragrance to the present day.
We primarily produce and sell incense and incense sticks blended with natural aromatic woods such as kyara, agarwood, and sandalwood.
"Koubunboku" and "Kaiunkou" are long-selling incense brands that have been cherished for over 100 years and are loved by temples across Japan.

"The name comes from an ancient Chinese story, where the plum blossom was praised as a 'flower of peace that loves literature.' This premium incense uses a generous amount of natural fragrances, including sandalwood, cinnamon, and borneol.
