制作場所は古民家をリノベーションした自社工房。職人を育成し、主に手帳カバーや革小物を製造販売している、ものづくり集団ｗａｊｉ。
代表する３つのシリーズを、展示会にてお披露目します。
①『ｇｌａｒｔ』（グラート）
リアルガラスと革を融合させた、ステンドグラスドアデザインの革小物。限られた職人でした生み出せない、唯一無二の作品です。完成に至るまでに約1年と半年。肉眼では全てを感じ取れないほど、過剰な拘りにより生まれました。全ては傑作を生みだしたいが故の、只のわがままかもしれません。そんなわがままが誰かの心を激しく揺さぶることができたその時、私たちは職人冥利に尽きることでしょう。
②『ｋｅｕ』（ケウ）：錆を呼び起こした本革。革職人の経験と感性により生まれる、工芸品級の逸品です。稀有なもの、お届けします。
③『ａｏｎｅｃｏ』（アオネコ）：『全てのネコが隙だらけに眠れますように』をコンセプトに、商品代金の約10%が保護ネコ施設への寄付になる、保護ネコ支援のものづくり。ペンホルダーや革小物、服飾雑貨など幅広く展開。使って可愛い、寄付してほっこり。-関わる全ての“ネコ”と“ヒト”に恩恵を-
Our workshop is located in a renovated traditional Japanese house. We are a craft collective, waji, dedicated to nurturing artisans and manufacturing and selling items like notebook covers and leather goods.
We are excited to unveil our three signature series at the exhibition.
① ‘glart’: Leather goods designed with a stained-glass door aesthetic, fusing real glass and leather. These are one-of-a-kind pieces that could not have been created by our limited number of artisans. It took us a year and a half to complete. They are born from an excessive level of detail that cannot be perceived by the naked eye. Perhaps it is just our own indulgence, all in our desire to create masterpieces. But the moment this indulgence deeply moves someone’s heart, it will be the ultimate fulfillment for us artisans.
② ‘keu’: Genuine leather that awakens the beauty of rust. These are artisanal masterpieces born from the experience and sensibility of our leather craftsmen. We bring you something rare.
③ ‘aoneco’: With the concept, “So that all cats may sleep soundly,” this is a brand built to support rescue cats, with approximately 10% of the proceeds from every purchase donated to cat shelters. We offer a wide range of products, including pen holders, leather goods, and fashion accessories. Cute to use, and heartwarming to donate to. -Benefiting all “cats” and “people” connected to us-
