MIWAX

1946年の創業当初から文具事務用品を中心に原材料の加工から仕上げまで、一貫して国内工場にて製造してきました。
特にデスクマットとカッティングマットは、自社製品だけでなく他社メーカーとのOEM製品も多数手がけており長年に渡り実績とノウハウを蓄積してきました。
「Miwax The Cuttingmat」はその経験を生かし、単なる事務用品にはとどまらない、新たな価値を提案するカッティングマットとして「グッドデザイン賞ベスト100」を受賞。
近年は他社にはないバリエーションやギミックを搭載したデスクマットなどを開発。机上用品全般の商品展開を強化している。
また、マルチクリエーターとして活躍するハイロック氏やアパレルブランドHUMAN MADE?など業界業種を飛び越えたコラボレーションも積極的に行っている。
2026年には新ブランド「miwairo」をスタート。

Since our founding in 1946, we have manufactured everything in-house at our domestic factory, from the processing of raw materials to the finishing of stationery and office supplies.
We have accumulated extensive experience and know-how, particularly with desk mats and cutting mats, handling numerous OEM products for not only our own brand but also for other manufacturers.
Leveraging this experience, “Miwax The Cuttingmat” was awarded the “Good Design Award Best 100” for being a cutting mat that offers value beyond mere office supplies.
In recent years, we have strengthened our product line for all desk accessories by developing desk mats featuring variations and gimmicks unmatched by other companies.
Furthermore, we actively pursue collaborations across different industries, acting as a multi-creator, such as with Mr. Highlock or the apparel brand HUMAN MADE?
We are launching a new brand, “miwairo,” in 2026.

カッティングマットメーカーが開発したGOOD DESIGN賞ベスト100を受賞のカッティングマット。
MIWAX The Cuttingatは確かな機能性はもちろんのこと、クリエイターがこだわる空間にも違和感なくなじむ審美性を併せ持った、長年に渡って愛されるカッティングマットの定番品を目指し開発されました。
1cm間隔で配置された小さなドット(5cm間隔では線状のドット)はコントラストを抑えたグレーでプリント。
必要最低限の方眼罫のため、空間にマッチする方眼デザインのカッティングマットです。

A cutting mat that won the GOOD DESIGN Award Best 100, developed by a cutting mat manufacturer. MIWAX The Cuttingat was developed to be a classic cutting mat, beloved for years, combining not only reliable functionality but also an aesthetic that blends seamlessly into the creative space. Small dots, placed at 1cm intervals (or as a line of dots at 5cm intervals), are printed in a low-contrast gray. With only the necessary grid lines, this is a cutting mat with a grid design that matches any space.

7インチレコードそっくりなデザインのカッティングマット。
マウスパッドとしても使用可能です。

MIWAX Cuttingmatは熱プレス溶着で軟質＋硬質＋軟質の3層を溶着します。
この製造方法は手間と時間がかかる製造方法ですが、反りや剥がれに強く
両面カッティングマットとして使用可能になります。
カッティングマットもまた価格競争により製造元が海外に移行しているなか
原材料から仕上げまで一貫して日本国内の工場で製造しています。

The MIWAX Cuttingmat is constructed by heat-pressing a three-layer structure: soft, hard, and soft.
While this manufacturing process is labor-intensive and time-consuming, it results in a product that is resistant to warping and peeling, allowing it to be used as a double-sided cutting mat.
In an industry where cutting mat production has shifted overseas due to price competition, we manufacture everything from raw materials to the finish in our own factory in Japan.
